SNEScapades
Wayne’s World Edition

SNEScapades is going to the movies today. We’re discussing three games that were based on movies. First up we talk about the very strange Robin Williams movie Toys. The game it’s based on isn’t very good, but it gives us the chance to talk about Absolute Entertainment and to talk once again about prominent devs like David Crane and Garry Kitchen. Crane and Kitchen have some important games under their belts, so it’s a shame that all of their games for the SNES haven’t been amazing. Then we talk about Wayne’s World. This is a game with something of a reputation for being pretty bad. Surprisingly, this one is actually a lot better than we’d been led to believe. NOT! Finally, we talk about the Terminator; a strange movie to be getting a game given that the movie was pretty far in the rear view mirror by the time it came out, but perhaps with T2 on the horizon, Mindscape thought they could cash in. Not gonna lie, none of these are particularly great games. Which one of these is the best of the worst and will there be any bottom 10 contenders? Listen and find out.
